Your Questions Answered
Common questions
Is insurance included with the rental car?
Absolutely. Every vehicle comes with insurance coverage to ensure your safety and give you complete peace of mind during your trip.
Please see more about insurance details on our Insurance page.
Is there a daily mileage limit?
All our rentals come with unlimited mileage, so you can travel freely across Kyrgyzstan without any extra fees — no limits, no surprises.
Are there any age restrictions for car rentals?
Yes. Renters must be between 24 and 65 years old and have at least 5 years of driving experience.
Can I rent a car with a driver in Kyrgyzstan?
Yes, we offer rentals with professional drivers — and even local guides if needed. For details, check out our Car with Driver page.
What documents are required to rent a car?
You’ll need a valid driver’s license, passport, and either an International Driving Permit (IDP) or an official translation of your license into Kyrgyz or Russian.
We can translate your driver’s license for 30 USD.
Are there any roads or areas where driving is prohibited?
Yes. There are certain mountain passes, remote valleys, and off-road routes in Kyrgyzstan where driving is strictly not allowed due to dangerous terrain, damaged or missing bridges, or non-existent roads.
You can find the full list and details on our Prohibited Roads page.
